Amanda and I have even been pressing Tim to consider _The Playmakers 2,_ but he's playing it cautious -- so far. Do _you_ want Tim to do a second book? What toy would you recommend? On Page 23 of yuor book, you mention Frank Hornby, whose english company produced Meccano mentioned in the erector section, Hornby trains in several scales and Dinky toys - which are also mrnioned in the match box toy section.
I would like to nominate these as candiates for timeless toys.
P.S. Thanks for a wonderful trip down memory lans, I have just spend a most enjoyable Boxing day reading your book !!

Please do you have any idea where I could get a wonderful game called Cascade.
Little ball going up a tower and then falling onto 3 little drums.
My children played it and we want out grandchildren to have the same fun.
